Summary:
The Director is responsible for the planning, organizing, coordinating and directing administrative and operational functions for the Bryn Du Mansion estate (Bryn Du).
The Director is part of the greater Granville leadership system and represents Bryn Du to the community and the area.
The Director is Bryn Du's ombudsman and business representative.
The Director is Bryn Du's financial manager, staff supervisor, and representative to various area boards, as directed by the Commission.
Bryn Du host events year around, 7 days a week, during and outside of normal business hours.
The Director is to have knowledge of all events and supervises employees and/or volunteers to insure safe, effective facility usage.
The Director selects, motivates, supervises, develops and directs the staff to administer Bryn Du.
The Director is approachable, hands on and is a good delegator.
RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership and Management Provides leadership, guidance and support to the volunteer Bryn Du Commission.
Plans, organizes, prioritizes, directs and controls the activities at Bryn Du.
Oversees the paid staff and volunteers.
Works with all parties to ensure compliance with relevant state, federal, local rules.
Develops, recommends and monitors an annual budget.
Administrates long term contracts with partners:
Granville Recreation District, Granville Village, art programs, the Licking County Community Center for 60
Adults, and the Licking Land Trust, and provides the Commission with recommendations for contract enhancements.
Ensures that Bryn Du is safe for staff, volunteers, visitors and event participants.
Works with the Commission during the renovation of the Historic Barn Participates in appropriate professional development courses.
Planning and Business Development Develops with the Commission long and short-range plans for Bryn Du Develops and implements marketing strategies Communications and Fundraising Networks with local groups and organizations, representing Bryn Du and gaining support for operations and programs.
Responds appropriately to questions and concerns from the public and partners.
Identifies new partnerships and/or revenue opportunities.
QUALIFICATIIONS Associate Degree or higher Five years of senior management experience Excellence in organizational management with ability to coach staff, manage, and develop high performance, set and achieve strategic objectives, and manage a budget Strong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures Strong written and verbal communication skills with a passionate and persuasive voice Action oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable and innovative approach to business planning Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people Job Type:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
