The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical treatment to animals, performing diagnostic tests, administering medications, and providing support to the veterinarian.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians in the examination and treatment of animals.
Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed by a veterinarian.
Maintain medical records and prepare reports for the veterinarian.
Perform laboratory tests such as urinalysis, blood counts, and parasite examinations.
Assist in surgical procedures as needed.
Provide nursing care for hospitalized animals.
Monitor vital signs of animals.
Educate clients on animal health care.
