Program Description: The Science & Technology (S&T) Development Program is designed to build a pipeline of technical and leadership talent for the S&T organization at Owens Corning. As a participant in this three-year program, you will be provided with two highly impactful rotations, each lasting 18 months. You will be a member of our S&T team focused on delivering business results through solving complex technical challenges leading to new business growth initiatives, significant cost reductions, and/or product performance improvements. Your personal and professional growth will be accelerated through challenging rotational assignments; technical and leadership skill trainings; performance feedback; formal mentorships and networking opportunities; and career development workshops. You will develop a thorough understanding of our products, testing and manufacturing processes, customers, competitors, and business metrics. Upon completion of the program, you will continue to lead critical work on key innovation projects within the S&T organization or a related function. Who we are looking for? A Ph.D. or M.S. in Chemistry; Materials Science & Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Chemical Engineering; or a related science/engineering field A cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher Demonstrated technical knowledge with the ability to develop project plans and lead projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to frame the right problem to solve Strong interpersonal and team skills A willingness to step outside one?s comfort zone and take a risk An eagerness to lead projects and take initiative Strong desire for continuous learning and able to leverage feedback positively Business experience through co-ops/internships or direct work experience What will you experience? Two assignments while in program, each lasting 18 months Assignments can occur within: Composites Insulation Roofing Sustainability Front End Innovation Corporate Analytical Lab Other related functions Assignments can be focused on materials research, product and process innovations, and customer inspired solution development. Emphasis is placed on R&D, manufacturing processes, and customer interaction High visibility within the S&T organization and with business leaders through presentations and project reviews Networking with S&T program participants and orientation with members of other functional development programs Exposure to various corporate organizations and business unit processes Formal mentorship with high level technical leaders for each assignment and with a R&D Leader/Development Program Leader throughout the program Location of Assignment: Primarily Granville, Ohio (east of Columbus); other locations possible. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
